Det har äntligen börjat komma värda nyheter om Steven Spielbergs otitulerade science fiction TV-serie. Den tidigare bestämde huvudrollsinnehavaren Noah Wyle spelar Tom Mason, professor och motvillig ledare för en motståndsrörelse. Senaste tillskottet till rollerna är Moon Bloodgood. Hon kommer spela terapeuten Anne Glass, som hjälper barn att hantera de traumatiska upplevelserna sen rymdvarelserna tog över.
Ja, det är ju Stevenn Spielberg så att rymdvarelser var inblandade var väl inte allt för oväntat? Serien utspelar sig efter att dessa rymdvarelser utrotat större delen av mänskligheten. (Vilket nu verkar rätt relevant.) De håller nu på att samla ihop de sista överlevarna men möts av starkt motstånd från en grupp soldater och civila. Kan de klara att överleva och samtidigt behålla sin mänsklighet trots förutsättningarna?

In this series from DreamWorks Television, Noah Wyle will star as the leader of a rag-tag group of soldiers and civilians struggling against an occupying alien force. The project is being executive-produced by Steven Spielberg, along with DreamWorks Television heads Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank and screenwriter Robert Rodat. Rodat, who earned an Oscar® nomination for his screenplay for Saving Private Ryan, wrote the pilot from an idea he co-conceived with Spielberg. The pilot was directed by Carl Franklin (One False Move, Out of Time).

It combines personal human drama with dynamic action to create the kind of series people will be talking about the morning after. Så 2011. Samma år som Spielbergs The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn sägs komma ut. Den intetsägande bilden högst upp är den första officiella bilden från TV-serien. Just nu Vi kan ju redan nu börja spekulera över namnet på serien och hur utomjordingarna kommer att se ut. Vad tror du?
